We have found that as you design your Wedding Limousine Service, following the steps listed below will allow you to have the luxury transportation you desire and help keep you on schedule with as little cost to you as possible.

You should schedule your limousine service around the various aspects of your wedding, in this order:

  1. The schedule your Photographer/Videographer has planned
  2. The schedule that your Church or Venue has
  3. The schedule that your Reception hall has
  4. Are there any parents, elderly people or children that may need transportation?
  5. The end of your night and overnight accommodations.

Some general guidelines for photo sessions are:

  • Always schedule your limousine service around the schedule that you and your photographer planned
  • Taking pictures is often more time consuming than you think. Plan at least 45 minutes for each photography session (consult your photographer).
  • Be wary of photo sessions that are scheduled to be as short as 10 – 15 minutes or so.
  • Tell everyone in the bridal party to stay close during the picture sessions. Even if they are told they are done they may be needed for one more missed shot. The more people in your wedding party, the better the chance that someone will run a little late
  • In our experience the conflicts in scheduling a limo occur when the photographer is not done and the limo has another wedding or job to get to. Plan a little extra time so you can relax, get the shots you need and enjoy the day.
  • Some pictures can be taken prior to the wedding and, in fact, most photographers prefer to do it this way. You can schedule them in any order you wish. This is the usual schedule.

Below is a very efficient schedule that is used on a majority of weddings;

  • The Brides and Bridesmaids usually arrive at the church/venue first and can finish getting ready and start their picture session.
  • As they are completing their picture session the Groom and Groomsmen are transported to the church/venue. Upon the arrival of the guys the Bride and Bridesmaids can then hide in the church and the Groom and Groomsmen can have their picture session. After the Guys are done with their photo session the ceremony should be about ready to start.
  • Group pictures with the entire bridal party and family members at the altar are usually taken after the ceremony or possibly at the reception venue. Because you will have to wait for the church to clear out before you can start the group photo session it is wise to also plan about 45 minutes to 1 hour for this photo session. Checking with the church is very important as they may have another wedding scheduled.
  • It is very important that you get the group photo session after the wedding done in a timely manor. Usually a limousine will be scheduled on another job as soon as your trip is completed. That being said the chauffeur simply cannot wait if you are running extremely late and as such the photographer may not have time to complete all pictures or rush through them if the car and wedding party have to leave.
  • (Note) This type of a schedule is our most popular and is very efficient. It allows the necessary time to transport all parties to the church/venue and then to the reception in as small a time frame as is needed and still have extra time to allow for people that may be running a little behind. It also allows time for little glitches that can through a wrench into any schedule.
  • NOTE: Photographers usually like to arrive at the reception just prior to the Limousine so they can set up for pictures as the car approaches. Plan about 15 minutes extra transportation time and tell the chauffeur to cruise a little before going to the reception hall. (Time Permitting)
